To provide a full confidential secretarial service to the Cardiology Consultants and their team. Carry out duties as defined by the Directorate Support Manager to meet the needs of the service and manage and prioritise your workload, working independently to defined policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Provide confidential secretarial service to Consultants and their team.
* Carry out duties as defined by the Departmental Manager.
* Manage and prioritise workload and work independently following policies and procedures.
Experience
* Experience working in a Secretarial post.
* NHS experience and experience of working as a Medical Secretary.
* Experience working in a hospital environment.
Qualifications & Knowledge
* Keyboard skills to RSA III or equivalent.
* Audio Typing.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Knowledge of CWS, Myrddyn, Med Secs.
Education
* English Language GCSE O level or equivalent, good standard of education.
