Duties of the Warranty Claims Engineer include:
12. Assessing, authorising, and processing warranty claims in accordance with product coverage and policy terms
13. Communicating effectively with customers, dealerships, repairers, and suppliers
14. Arranging repairs and verifying supporting documentation
15. Handling customer enquiries promptly and professionally
16. Responding to repair and claim queries, resolving issues, and managing difficult situations with empathy
17. Monitoring claims and preparing reports, ensuring adherence to GDPR principles
Candidate requirements for the Warranty Claims Engineer role:
18. Excellent technical knowledge of modern vehicles
19. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
20. Attention to detail and organisation skills
21. Calm, friendly, and professional approach when dealing with customers
22. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; training provided on company systems
23. Previous experience in warranty claims is desirable but not essential
24. Team player with good interpersonal skills and conflict management abilities
