Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of an established charity in London, which provides a range of services to adults with disabilities. We are seeking a Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be part of an organization that aims to improve lives and will play a key role in financial management and analysis.
Main Responsibilities
1. The Management Accountant will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information and analysis to support decision-making across care projects.
2. Work closely with senior management to monitor the company's financial performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
3. Manage time-sensitive processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights into financial performance.
4. Monitor operational costs, identify areas for cost reduction, ensure financial controls are in place, and suggest procedural improvements based on sound judgment and experience.
5. Build strong relationships with budget holders, senior managers, and Heads of Departments, providing assistance and professional advice on financial matters.
Candidate Criteria
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified with extensive experience.
* Experience in a similar finance role within a charity or health & social care environment.
* Strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting, and forecasting in a multi-site environment.
* Proficient with Excel and finance packages such as Sage 200.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
