A charitable organisation, who make a meaningful impact every day supporting people with disabilities, currently seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join them on a part-time basis (21 hours a week), for a 6-month maternity cover. (Potential for something longer term/permanent).
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Direct Reports: HR Team (4)
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you’ll lead a small, high-performing HR team and work closely with the CEO to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives. You’ll play a key role in employee relations, safeguarding, data analysis, and HR projects that drive organisational effectiveness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Coach and support the HR team to deliver a people-focused service.Employee Relations: Advise on performance, grievance, disciplinary and capability cases, ensuringpliance with employment law and safeguarding standards.HR Projects & Data: Lead HR initiatives, manage HR data integrity, and provide insights to senior leadership.Safeguarding &pliance: Act as a key contact for safeguarding queries and ensure alignment with legislation.People Strategy & Culture: Partner with leaders to embed a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
About YouEssential:
1. Proven HR generalist or business partnering experience
2. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
3. Experience managing ER cases and safeguarding processes
4. Confident leading a smallpetent HR team
5. Excellentmunication and influencing skills
6. Data literate with HR systems experience
7. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent

Desirable:
8. Experience in charity, public, or not-for-profit sectors
9. Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks
10. HR project experience involving data and analysis

13. Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery skills
