Job Description
The Employment Legal Director will be:* Advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non contentious employment matters* Advising private and listed companies with complex HR and workforce issues* Advising on industrial action, union negotiations and workforce restructuring matters* Managing employment litigation and senior executive exits* Advising clients within sectors including sport, retail, technology, manufacturing and healthcare* Providing strategic employment support on business critical projects and transactions* Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with national and international businesses* Working on business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
The Successful Applicant
The Employment Legal Director should be / have;* A solicitor with ideally 8 years PQE or above in employment law* Confident in advising employers on a broad range of employment and HR matters* Confident handling complex contentious and non contentious employment work* Experienced in supporting large corporate clients across multiple sectors* Commercially minded with strong client relationship management skills* Interested in working within a large regional law firm* Comfortable supervising and mentoring junior team members* An excellent communicator with strong technical and interpersonal skills

3. Salary ranging from £105,000 to £120,000 per annum.
