About the Role
As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the entire supply chain ecosystem — from procurement and production planning to warehousing, logistics, and customer fulfilment. You'll lead cross-functional teams, build strong supplier networks, and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Procurement & Supplier Management
o Source high-quality materials at competitive prices to meet production needs.
o Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, tracking performance and mitigating risk.
o Lead an effective expediting function to prevent delays and ensure material availability.
o Identify opportunities for savings, quality improvements, and supplier optimisation.
* Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
o Drive a robust S&OP process to align supply with business demand.
o Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and production teams.
o Monitor forecasts and adjust inventory strategies to balance demand and supply.
* Customer Service & Fulfilment
o Own the Order-to-Delivery process, ensuring goods are delivered OTIF.
o Lead the customer service team to enhance responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
o Implement continuous improvements to reduce lead times and increase delivery reliability.
* Production Planning & Scheduling
o Develop efficient production plans aligned with forecast and inventory targets.
o Allocate resources effectively to support operational agility.
o Partner with quality teams to maintain high manufacturing standards.
* Inventory & Warehouse Management
o Oversee stock accuracy, storage optimisation, and warehouse operations.
o Reduce excess and obsolete inventory through smart planning.
o Use data-driven tools to optimise stock levels and ensure availability.
* Logistics & Goods Flow
o Manage inbound and outbound flows for maximum accuracy and efficiency.
o Collaborate with logistics partners to enhance transportation performance.
o Troubleshoot bottlenecks and drive improvements to delivery metrics.
* Leadership & Team Development
o Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
o Set clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and promote a culture of excellence.
o Encourage cross-functional collaboration and communication.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* 8 years of supply chain experience, including 3 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing or similar industry.
* Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline (Master's or certifications such as APICS/CIPS preferred).
* Strong experience with ERP systems, forecasting tools, and supply chain optimisation software.
* Proven ability to lead complex projects, influence stakeholders, and make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
