Cast UK is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking client for a Purchasing Coordinator to play a key role in their procurement and supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchasing experience to join a growing business and contribute to a well-established supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and process purchase orders
2. Action MRP recommendations and maintain ERP data
3. Liaise with suppliers and track order progress
4. Support supplier negotiations and relationship management
5. Monitor KPIs and identify cost-saving opportunities
6. Assist with supplier sourcing and NPI projects
7. Collaborate with planning and operations teams
8. Handle purchasing admin and internal communications
What We're Looking For:
9. At least 2 years' experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
10. Proven ability in supplier sourcing and relationship management
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels
12. Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, ideally within an SME environment
13. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
14. Professional procurement qualification (. CIPS) preferred or working towards
15. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
