Kick-start your engineering career on major UK infrastructure projects. Join a delivery-focused structural engineering team with an impressive portfolio that includes work on HS2, the Ministry of Defence, and Gatwick Airport. You’ll be given real responsibility from day one—designing, problem-solving, liaising with clients, and developing your skills across both temporary and permanent works. We’re looking for a motivated graduate who is ready to grow into a well-rounded, site-aware structural engineer capable of delivering safe, efficient, and practical solutions on live construction projects.
What You’ll Be Doing

* Produce clear and accurate AutoCAD drawings, design calculations, specifications, and reports.
* Conduct structural analysis with support from experienced engineers and apply relevant design standards.
* Attend site visits for inspections and surveys to ensure buildability and compliance.
* Collaborate with site teams, clients, and suppliers to close out technical queries and keep projects moving.
* Contribute to bids and tenders by identifying temporary works requirements.
* Manage your workload, meet deadlines, and maintain clear project records.
* Work towards ICE or IStructE chartership with structured mentoring and support.
What We’re Looking For
* BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (ICE/IStructE accredited).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* A basic understanding of structural materials (steel, concrete, timber).
* Awareness of Eurocodes, BS 5975, and CDM 2015 (training provided).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
* Willingness to visit sites and engage directly with construction teams.
* A full UK driving licence (but not essential).
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
* Knowledge of design software such as Tedds, Robot, Revit, CADS, SketchUp, IDEA StatiCa.
* CSCS, PTS, or TWC training/certification.
Why Join Us?
* Be part of a team delivering real impact at Gatwick Airport and beyond.
* Receive ongoing training, mentorship, and support towards professional chartership.
* Gain exposure to client interaction, site conditions, and project delivery—not just desk-based work.
* Work in a collaborative environment that values practical engineering, innovation, and safety.
