Lecturer in Access to Land-Based Studies (Animal & Countryside Management)
18 hours per week, Fixed term until 31 August 2027
£34,421 - £41,074 per annum pro rata
We are looking for a committed course leader to join our Access to Higher Education team. Access to HE Land-Based Studies Level 3 Diploma (validated by CAVA) provides adult learners with the key knowledge and skills needed to progress onto higher education study in Animal Science, Zoology, and Wildlife & Conservation at level 4. This course is a well-established course delivered at Easton.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide course leadership, by overseeing the day to day running of the course
•Deliver established core and subject based teaching units on the Access to HE Land-Based Studies
•Update units where necessary.
•Work collaboratively with the Personal Development Coach and wider support teams to ensure that adult learners are well supported and prepared for their next steps or higher education study
Skills / Experience Required:
•A recognised teaching qualification
•Experience of teaching adult learners
•Industry experience in land-based or related field
•Curriculum and unit development experience
•Knowledge of CAVA qualification would be desirable but not essential
