DMC Repairs Operative (Damp, Mould and Condensation) Nottingham £27,859 - £32,656 per annum As a Damp, Mould and Condensation RepairsOperative, youll play a vital role in improving living conditions across our housing stock by identifying, treating, and preventing damp, mould and condensation issues. What Youll Do Diagnose and treat damp, mould, and condensation problems Carry out repairs: plastering, resealing, grouting, gutter cleaning, painting, and general maintenance Advise tenants on prevention methods Conduct calcium carbide testing and report findings Maintain tools and equipment safely Collaborate with internal teams to meet repair targets Keep accurate records and communicate updates What Were Looking For Knowledge of damp and mould causes, effects, and treatments Skilled in property repairs and maintenance Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks Respectful of tenants homes and committed to high standards Experience in social housing is a bonus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
