Your role will be handling a mix of trusts and estate litigation cases involving:
5. Will disputes and testamentary document interpretation
6. Claims against executors, including removal and replacement
7. Disputes between executors and administration applications
8. Inheritance Act claims
9. Trust document variation and annulment
10. Claims against trustees for breach of fiduciary duty
11. Proprietary estoppel and constructive trust claims
12. Professional negligence in private client work
Requirements:
13. Experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive, likely NQ-2 years PQE, or alternatively a broad litigator who has gained experience in wills, trusts and estates disputes with a passion for this area
14. Outstanding technical knowledge, likely gained in a similar environment
15. Excellent communication skills
16. Experience with multi-jurisdictional estates/trusts and contentious Court of Protection cases would be advantageous. Non-contentious private client experience would also be beneficial.
