SEN Teaching Assistant – Twickenham
Daily Rate: £90–£100 | Contract: Full-time, long-term cover | Start Date: September 2025
We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Twickenham.
You’ll be working 1:1 with pupils in a dedicated SEN provision within the school.
The children have high-functioning autism and thrive with clear routines, visual supports, and calm, patient interactions.
In this role, you will:
* Support pupils’ learning and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day
* Use strategies to help reduce anxiety and make transitions smoother
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to review progress
* Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
