This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive events, partnerships, and sponsorship strategy aligned to the wider marketing objectives

5. Take a lead role, alongside the Head of Marketing, in commercial negotiations for key strategic partnerships, and oversee all partnership and sponsorship agreements across the business
6. Lead, develop and coach two direct reports (Events Manager and Sponsorships & Partnerships Executive), as well as providing guidance to the wider events team where appropriate
7. Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution and evaluation of all partnership-led events, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to a high standard
8. Provide oversight and guidance on all branch and team-led events, partnerships and sponsorship activity to ensure maximum value is achieved from each initiative

13. Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to delegate effectively and manage workloads
14. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging with senior leaders and external partners
15. A proactive mindset with a keen interest in industry trends, bringing innovative ideas and seeing them through to execution
16. Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance big-picture planning with operational delivery
17. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, optimise processes, and deliver efficiencies

Qualifications:

18. Degree-level education (or equivalent) in Marketing, Events Management, Project Management, or a related field
19. Candidates with proven leadership experience within events, partnerships and sponsorship functions are strongly encouraged to apply

Demonstrate Our Values:

20. We put clients first. If we do what’s right for our clients, the firm will do well, and we’ll all benefit.
21. We act with integrity. We put others above self, and what’s right above what’s easy. We believe doing well and doing good aren’t mutually exclusive.
22. We think long term. We act responsibly, taking a conservative approach that translates into a strong, stable firm for clients, wealth managers, associates, and shareholders.
23. We value independence. We respect autonomy, celebrate individuality and welcome diverse perspectives, while encouraging collaboration and innovation.

Governance:

This role falls under the “First Line of Defence,” where accountability lies in identifying, assessing, controlling, and mitigating risks within the employee’s business area.

At Raymond James, we uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in line with FCA expectations. All employees are expected to demonstrate behaviours that support a culture of transparency, accountability, and fairness. This includes acting with honesty, treating clients and colleagues with respect, and consistently making decisions that reflect the best interests of customers and the integrity of the financial system. Adherence to the FCA’s Conduct Rules is not only a regulatory requirement but a core part of our commitment to maintaining trust and confidence in the markets we serve.
