Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office at least once a week. The role will provide the opportunity to frequently travel to our regional teams and partners across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to co-design projects and initiatives in partnership. You'll be responsible for delivering towards our new strategy, particularly our ‘Ending Unequal Access’ goal, and will work closely with the Head of Access & Participation, the Head of Placemaking and Design and the Senior Urban Programme Manager and broader urban communities of practice and city teams. You'll facilitate evidence led decisions including developing and commissioning new research to ‘make the case’ for urban projects and supporting urban heritage and greenspace project development.You'll take a direct role in programme managing the Trust's 20 green corridor programme and working with regional and national urban teams. Although comfortable working in detail you will have an awareness of the big picture and apply strategic thinking.
