Fostering productive relationships across practices, our localcommunity and with wider partner health, social and third sector colleagues.

South Kerrier Primary Care Network covers 4 practices on themainland and the Isles of Scilly. We have a unique position of coveringboth the most southerly and westerly populations in the country.
We help care for approximately 32, 500 people in partnership withour constituent practices.

Job responsibilities
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
1.Lead and manage team members and services onbehalf of the PCN, included ARRS-funded and other PCN roles.
2.Manage funding and financial processes on behalfof the PCN.
3.Provide support and report to the ClinicalDirector and PCN management team on key aspects of PCN operations.
4.Liaise with key stakeholders within the widersector and community, including commissioners, practices, other PCNs, charitiesand community groups.
1.Lead and manage team members and serviceson behalf of the PCN, included ARRS-funded and other PCN roles.
1.1 Provideleadership and support to directly employed team members and those employed viaother agencies.
1.2 Collaboratewith practice managers, team leaders and other colleagues to allocate andadjust team members time proportionately and according to need across thepractices.
1.3 Managerelationships with external agencies and employers over service delivery withinthe PCN, agreeing terms, conditions, SLAs and liaising over issues anddevelopments on an ongoing basis.
1.4 Workwith the Clinical Director and team leaders to lead and support withrecruitment, annual appraisals, reviews, personal development and performancemanagement.
1.5 Attendand/or lead service-specific meetings and practice meetings as required tosupport PCN teams and operations.
1.6 Identifyand propose opportunities to develop new roles or adapt existing team membersresponsibilities to meet emerging needs or projects within the PCN.
1.7 Workwith the HR/Payroll lead within the Helios Group to support employmentprocesses, including sickness, overtime, holidays, payroll, recruitment andleavers.
1.8 Developstaff-related policies and procedures for the PCN as required.
2.Manage funding and financial processes onbehalf of the PCN.
2.1 Maintainaccurate records and collate required evidence to support all PCN regularfunding claims, including those provided via the ICB as part of the DEScontract, as well as any specific projects.
2.2 Processand submit claims accurately and on-time.
2.3 Monitorprogress against funded-contracts and projects, identifying and troubleshootingissues, reporting internally and externally on progress as required, andensuring achievement and compliance.
2.4 Identifyand propose opportunities to maximise use of existing funding.
2.5 Identifyand respond to opportunities to secure additional funding for the PCN, advisingon, collating and developing submissions as required.
2.6 Manageday-to-day financial operations, including purchase orders, invoicing,payments, and funding deployment to practices, maintaining accurate recordswithin the accounting system.
2.7 Ensurethat funding entitlements for practices are deployed in a timely way and inline with internal agreements and external requirements/limitations.
3.Provide support and report to theClinical Director and PCN management team on key aspects of PCN operations.
3.1 Co-ordinatePCN-related meetings, including regular management meetings and externalmeetings as required. Manage venues, attendees, develop agendas, take minutesand keep records of actions as required.
3.2 Provideadvice, insight and evidence on PCN operations to support with managementdecisions.
3.3 Provideregular reports and management information to the management team and practicesas required/requested, including financial progress, forecasts, and datarelated to service delivery.
3.4 Workclosely with the Digital Transformation Manager to support digital enhancementof PCN services, projects and operations.
4.Liaise with key stakeholders within thewider sector and community, including commissioners, practices, other PCNs,charities and community groups.
4.1 Alongsidethe Clinical Director, act as a key point of contact and liaison forcommissioners and decision makers related to the PCN, including the ICB.
4.2 Attendexternal meetings with stakeholders and decision makers to represent the PCN,locally and regionally as required.
4.3 Liaisewith other PCNs, health providers and services to enhance understanding anddecision making, sharing best practice internally to enhance services.
