What you’ll be doing
As a key member of the team, you’ll play a hands-on role in client service and team development:
Managing a portfolio of limited company and SME clients across varied sectors
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial statements
Completing corporate and personal tax returns and advising clients on tax planning opportunities
Overseeing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud-based reporting (primarily Xero)
Providing proactive business advice and becoming a trusted advisor to clients
Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior staff members to ensure accuracy and growth
Building long-lasting client relationships through exceptional service and clear communication
What we’re looking for
You’ll fit right in if you:
Have a solid background in general practice (ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent experience)
Are confident managing a client portfolio with minimal supervision
Have experience preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns to a high standard
Are commercially aware and enjoy adding value through client advice
Can balance technical accuracy with a personable, approachable style
Are proactive, organised, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team
