We are seeking an exceptional Retail Sales and Operations Manager responsible for leading our team in Lincolnshire.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, embodying WFF’s ‘good old-fashioned service’ ethic and making a meaningful difference in customers’ lives.
Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is the UK’s largest ready-meal supplier, delivering over 330 varieties of frozen meals primarily to the elderly, their families, and healthcare professionals. The Retail Sales and Operations Manager will own their territory, viewing it as their own business, and strive for outstanding results by leveraging national support and strengthening local relationships with customers and within the community. They will focus on four key areas, depicted within the Wiltshire Farm Foods triangle of success:
Happy Teams - Good Old-Fashioned Service
* Lead by example, support, and enable your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Develop team members' knowledge and passion for our food.
* Foster a respectful, supportive environment encouraging excellence.
* Prioritize health and safety above all else.
Costs of Local Distribution (COLD)
* Achieve targets for local distribution costs focusing on labour, vehicle, depot, and marketing costs.
* Review performance monthly with the Regional Manager.
* Ensure action plans are executed to stay on target.
Growing Sales
* Manage customer relationships locally while data is handled nationally.
* Implement national campaigns and CRM activities.
* Drive local initiatives for growth, such as sheltered housing and CSA training.
Community Engagement
* Engage with local organizations, hospitals, and healthcare professionals to promote growth.
Essential Experience, Skills, and Abilities
* Build exceptional customer relationships.
* Proven success in achieving sales and profit targets with high service standards.
* Experience leading a team, fostering engagement, and supporting daily operations.
* Ability to analyze data to identify success levers.

* Experience in retail, care, hospitality, or owning a business.
* Knowledge of health & safety compliance.
* Experience managing employee consultations and change initiatives.
Qualifications
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
* UK manual driving license for at least 2 years.
* Employment is subject to driving assessment, license checks, and DBS checks.
