We’re looking for an innovative HR Advisor with a can-do attitude to support the changing and challenging needs of the department. The HR Advisor will assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective HR Operations service, providing a range of HR duties and support within the People Services Team.

About the role
You'll be a point of contact for all HR queries, this role will provide a professional and customer focused service dealing with both internal and external customers whilst building and maintaining effective relationships.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Providing support on all HR processes in accordance with relevant policies and/or legislation.
* Supporting HR Business partners to provide advise and information on people issues in their area.
* Maintaining accurate employee records through the HRIS system in line with GDPR and manage the Ticketing system.
* Supporting the onboarding of new starters, producing offer letters, contracts of employment and carrying out all pre-employment checks, ensuring a smooth and first-class onboarding process for new starters.
* Providing first line case management support (i.e., on sickness absence, conduct, capability, RTW and general disciplinary and grievances etc), advice and guidance to managers.
* Support the administration of the Annual Performance Review cycle ensuring all data is captured and stored via HRIS system as directed by the Head of HR Operations and HR Advisors.
* Providing reports/MI as required to support the People Services Team and key SYMCA customers.
About you
It’s crucial that you have previous experience of working within a HR and Talent Acquisition function, are confident working on your own initiative and as part of a team with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.

* Previous experience of working within a customer focussed environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy of work.
* Ability to manage and prioritise workloads and conflicting demands.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present information clearly.
* Experience handling confidential and sensitive data.
* Good practical experience in using Microsoft office applications.
