As a Trading Services Associate within Trading Services Team, you will be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions, complete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed. You will work closely with various teams to support a seamless trading process.
Job responsibilities:
1. Accurately and timely captures all transactions in the Risk Management Systems.
2. Completes intraday and end-of-day processes, including completeness and reconciliation checks, to ensure accurate processing of new trading activity and general book management.
3. Collaborates with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach.’
4. Diligently performs, completes, and signs-off on all controls in a timely manner.
5. Communicates clearly and concisely with all support teams to ensure efficient resolution of queries.
6. Participates in and contributes to strategic initiatives, continuously improving processes and business architecture.
7. Builds an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
8. Understanding of relevant derivatives and hedging products, including Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, Forward Rate Agreements (FRA), Foreign Exchange (FX), Zero Coupon and Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Bonds, and Futures.
9. Knowledge of the front-to-back Operations process, including confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting, and ability to facilitate issue resolution across teams.
10. Understanding of key elements of other infrastructure groups (., Finance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Legal, Collateral) and the impact of Trade Support team actions on these areas.
11. Clear communication skills with the ability to collaborate, explain, and challenge as appropriate.
