Band 6 Senior Anaesthetic Technical Officer (12‑month maternity cover)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our busy team for a 12‑month period to cover maternity leave as a Senior Anaesthetic Technical Officer.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical expertise and support to anaesthetists and theatre staff, ensuring the safe and effective use of anaesthetic equipment and IT systems.
* Set up, maintain and troubleshoot anaesthetic equipment and associated IT systems.
* Provide training to staff on equipment use and safety procedures.
* Ensure compliance with NHS and regulatory standards.
* Work mainly in workshops at our Oxford Road Campus and be flexible to work at Trafford Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.
Qualifications
* Strong technical background in medical equipment and/or healthcare IT systems.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
* Experience in an NHS or healthcare setting is desirable.
