The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven External Sales Representative to manage and develop a defined customer base while identifying and converting new business opportunities within the local area.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts
2. Proactively identify and win new business
3. Conduct regular customer visits and site meetings
4. Provide product advice and tailored electrical solutions
5. Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales
6. Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
7. Monitor competitor activity and market trends
8. Work closely with internal sales and branch teams
The Ideal Candidate
9. Proven experience in external sales, ideally within electrical wholesale
10. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
11. Commercially focused and target driven
12. Excellent communication and organisational skills
13. Full UK driving licence
