Overview
Renew Missouri is advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency through policy research, education of key decision makers, public education, coalition building, and regulatory oversight. Our mission is to advocate for clean energy access to all Missourians.
Responsibilities
* The Legal Clerk will be responsible for drafting and preparing administrative filings for the Public Service Commission along with tracking legal issues and regulatory proceedings relating to clean energy policy. This also includes state court work.
* The goals for this clerkship are to have the intern gain experience in research, statewide renewable and energy efficiency policy, and both judicial and administrative litigation.
* The clerk may be involved in other projects outside the scope of the specified internship.
Qualifications
* The ideal applicant should be a law student who has completed their first or second year of law school and who is experienced in legal and case law research.
* Flexibility and the ability to work both individually and in groups are key qualities in any Renew Missouri clerk.
* Basic Qualifications: The Clerk should have experience with Westlaw and/or Lexis Nexis legal research tools, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills.
