Job Description: Position: HSE Administrator/Co-ordinator Location: Omagh Reporting to: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager Hours of Work : 39¾ hours per week Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated HSE Co-ordinator to contribute to our team. Working as part of the site HSE team, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the HSE team in providing an efficient and effective HSE department, complying with both Terex and legislative requirements. What you’ll do: Main Duties & Responsibilities To maintain spreadsheets and other documents in relation to incident management, accident reporting, HSE statistics, KPI’s etc. in a timely manner. To ensure legal compliance and proper reporting of required metrics, whilst also helping to identify cost saving and improvement opportunities. Assisting the Health and Safety Team with writing up confidential incident reports and providing administration support to the investigation team. Maintain and update the web based HSE data management system. Attending assigned department meetings, take minutes, review and update HSE information on team communication boards. Attend HSE meetings as and when required and record any actions that have been assigned to the minute’s tracker. To Coordinate and assist with the Health and Safety training events for all Team Members. To schedule/maximise the uptake on training courses (in-house and outsourced) by co-coordinating all courses with operations team leaders in a way that ensures maximum possible attendance, site training objectives are met, and that production impacts are minimal. To maintain and file training records in compliance with the company’s Health and Safety management system. To process purchase orders and resolving invoice purchase order queries. To work with external occupational health provider to schedule on site annual appointments and assist them when required. To provide generic office administration and communication support for the HSE department. Any other reasonable duties that may be required. This above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role. What you’ll bring: Experience & Qualifications Minimum of GCSE level which ideally should include English and Math’s at grade ‘C’ or an equivalent. A proven track record in an administrative/coordinating office role is essential. Good keyboard and IT skills and advanced in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is preferable. Experience of ERP systems would be desirable. Knowledge and experience of data management systems. Experience of the processing of invoicing and credit notes. A relevant Health and Safety qualification would be desirable. Experience in a health and safety role would be desirable. Knowledge, skills & Abilities: A good communicator with good organisational skills – both verbal and written. Ability to work as part of a team and be able to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload. Be able to communicate and work with other departments as deemed necessary. A good working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation would be desirable. Good Presentation and Interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time The candidates should also have a “can do” attitude and be able to work as part of a team to meet the deadlines required.
