Job Title: Wheelchair Maintenance and Delivery Technician
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, including some weekend work and bank holidays on a rota system. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the service needs, providing support and practical engineering skills to maintain wheelchairs supplied to clients across the county of Dorset.
The role involves working independently on allocated tasks within the department and community settings to deliver an effective and responsive wheelchair maintenance, delivery, collection, and repair service for the Dorset Wheelchair Service. All activities must comply with relevant national legislation and local Trust policies. The role requires travel across Dorset.
Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible to apply.
You will contribute to the supply, repair, maintenance, and delivery of various wheelchair types, supporting a multidisciplinary team dedicated to client service.
You will work alongside a friendly team passionate about providing excellent service.
