You will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and smooth running of internal and external examinations. This is a casual/supply role managed through our education agency, allowing you to accept shifts that suit your availability.
Location:
Various Secondary Schools throughout Northumberland (including areas like Ashington, Morpeth, Cramlington, Blyth, Hexham .
Training & Support Provided:
We believe in providing our invigilators with the best preparation. Successful applicants will receive FREE, mandatory access to our proprietary training resources, including:
1. 'Exam Invigilator 2025 Training Video Module 1'
2. 'Exam Invigilator 2025 Training Video Module 2'
These modules ensure you are fully aware of the latest Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and best practices before you step into an examination hall.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Setup: Assisting with the organisation of the exam room, ensuring desks are spaced correctly and required materials are present.
4. Supervision: Actively monitoring students during the exams, remaining vigilant to prevent malpractice or distraction.
5. Procedure: Ensuring that all examination board rules and school procedures are strictly adhered to, including checking candidate identity.
6. Administration: Distributing and collecting examination papers and materials accurately and efficiently.
7. Support: Dealing calmly and effectively with candidate queries and any unexpected issues, escalating as necessary.
