Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef located in Cambridge. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met. Daily responsibilities include managing food preparation, coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and supporting menu planning. The position also requires a commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences by delivering flavorful and visually appealing meals.
Qualifications
Culinary skills, including experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating presentation.
Food safety and hygiene knowledge, demonstrating adherence to all health standards and regulations.
Leadership and team collaboration skills for effective communication and coordination with kitchen staff.
Time management and multitasking skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
An understanding of inventory management and the ability to maintain stock levels.
Attention to detail and creativity in developing and executing menus.
Professional experience in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred.
Culinary certification or relevant training is a benefit but not required.
