We're looking for a Technical Services Manager to lead the technical operations of the The Bridges Shopping Centre, an iconic landmark in the heart of Sunderland. You will be ensuring facilities run seamlessly, statutory compliance is maintained, and standards remain exceptional! This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver improvement strategies that keep The Bridges operating at its very best.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and deliver best practice technical and operational solutions to site-specific challenges.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate improvement strategies to maximise efficiency.
* Manage budgets to achieve profitability, growth, cash flow, and invoicing targets.
* Provide technical support to staff, tenants, service providers, and contractors.
* Lead technical services meetings and contribute to project and refurbishment planning.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
1. Strong working knowledge of the mechanical and electrical services industry.
2. Proven experience managing maintenance contracts and supervising contractors.
3. Excellent leadership, change management, and interpersonal skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of health & safety legislation and risk management.
