Woodlands Day Nursery is seeking a caring and reliable Chef & Housekeeper to join our friendly team. This is a varied role that combines preparing fresh, nutritious meals for our children with supporting the nursery in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
About the Role:
* Following the nutritional guidance to prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children, taking into account allergies and dietary needs.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, following all health and safety requirements.
* Ordering food and cleaning supplies.
* Support housekeeping duties around the nursery, helping us to keep our spaces safe, tidy, and inviting.
* Work as part of a supportive, friendly team who place children at the heart of everything we do.
About You:
* Experience cooking for groups or in a childcare/education setting is desirable but not essential.
* A passion for preparing healthy meals for children.
* Reliable, organised, and able to manage your time well.
* Willingness to take on varied tasks and help wherever needed.
* Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete training).
Hours & Pay:
* 30–36 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no late evenings or weekends).
