Do you have supervisory or team lead experience within a bespoke or low volume production or engineering environment? We are looking for a candidate who can step into a new challenge and work closely with and cover for the production manager, playing a key role in manufacturing performance and efficiency.
Due to continued growth our client needs an Assistant Production Manager to join the state‑of‑the‑art facility in Ringwood. The successful applicant will manage production schedules, materials, CI plans and a team of fitters, assemblers, electricians and quality technicians. You will work closely with the production manager to drive continuous improvement, step in as manager when needed, conduct production meetings, reviews and performance plans. The business will provide full training to ensure you understand the company’s products, processes, customer base and project timeframes.
As the team expands, there will be opportunities to progress into more senior management roles.
