The role is ideally suited to a newly qualified Management Accountant looking for a varied and commercially focused position with strong exposure across the wider business.

In your role as Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operational processes, key financial drivers, and overall commercial performance. Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Producing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including detailed commentary and variance analysis
* Taking ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting processes
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies or unusual variances
* Preparing accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journal entries
* Monitoring financial performance and delivering meaningful analysis to senior management teams
* Supporting month-end and year-end reporting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines
* Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial information and reporting systems
* Supporting internal and external audit processes through the preparation of relevant schedules and documentation
* Producing ad hoc financial reporting and analysis, including identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements
* Working closely with operational departments to provide financial support, insight, and performance analysis
