We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our team at our Markham Vale site on a full-time permanent basis.

Salary: £28,120 per annum.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 7pm-7am.

The purpose of a Transport Administrator is to provide administrative support and create accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contribute to the overall success of the site.

Key Duties of a Transport Administrator:

* Ensure all POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with site policy documents.
* Book collections for customers and complete relevant paperwork.
* Book deliveries for customers.
* Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries dispatched from the site, and chase outstanding PODs.
* Liaise with staff at other depots and external contacts.
* Photocopy, print, organise, and store documents and digital information.
* Manage inbound diary for all customers.
* Monitor daily the clean POD workflow.
* Control period-end spreadsheets.
* Compile lists of outstanding PODs and contact hauliers to request them.
* Report outstanding PODs daily.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to manage own time to achieve targets.
