Administrator – Education & Exams Officer
Salary £25,494 per annum
40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year
This role attracts a Responsibility Allowance of 6 points (equating to £3,000 per annum)
This role is to work as part of the administration team fulfilling administrative related duties to assist with the efficient running of the administration functions at the School, specifically related to Education (including EHC Plan reviews) alongside responsibility as Exam Officer for the School.
The key duties in this role will include:
• To be responsible for the scheduling of student meetings, including EHCP reviews.
• Collating and distributing Annual Review documents within statutory frameworks.
• Maintain the sharing and receiving of documents via online platforms such as Local Authority Hub systems for Annual Reviews.
• Responsibility for inviting and notifying all relevant stakeholders of student review meetings.
• To attend meeting as note taker and type up notes as required.
• To assist with the ongoing inputting of information onto databases.
• Diarising meetings and keeping track of actions and agendas.
• Carry out administrative tasks including word processing, filing, and sending out information and dealing with post.
• Delivery of outstanding administration support to the School
• To be responsible for managing the effective and efficient administration of external examinations in accordance with awarding body rules for exams administration in a consistent and secure fashion.
• To act on behalf of, and be the main point of contact for, the centre in matters relating to the
general administration of awarding body examinations and assessments.

• To support the head of centre in ensuring that the centre is compliant with the regulatory and
awarding body requirements in order to ensure the security and integrity of the
examinations/assessments at all times.
• To closely liaise with key stakeholders (external and internal) to ensure exams administration
processes are strictly followed and key deadlines met.
• To ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with the regulations
To undertake this position successfully you will have:
• Experience providing administration support in a busy environment with a diverse workload.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills including meeting strict deadlines.
• Experience of arranging and minuting meetings, compiling written reports with exceptional accuracy
• Proficient IT skills including use of Microsoft office.
• A professional attitude which reflects the values and culture of the Trust
• The ability to liaise with colleagues, external parties, students, and parents effectively and in an
appropriate manner.
• Effective planning and organising of own work and dealing with daily changes and pressures, whilst maintaining quality and consistency at all times.
• Knowledge of regulatory and awarding bodies and or experience of working with accreditation and awarding organisations would be advantageous.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Annual Review process and statutory frameworks would be
advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided.
