Our client is a successful company that work in high-end projects within London area, covering all aspects of garden maintenance and landscaping. They carry out high-quality work for clients situated mainly in the London areas. They are currently looking for a highly experienced Horticulturalist; this offers the opportunity to work on some top end domestic and commercial gardens. Soft landscaping experience required; horticultural knowledge is essential with a love and enthusiasm for plants and gardens with good communication and enjoys being part of a close-knit team, whilst being able to show initiative. PA1, PA6 certificates also preferred Driving is essential as there will be opportunity to cover maintenance runs with increased responsibility. Job description: • Weeding and seasonal pruning and planting / spraying • Hedge cutting • Lawn mowing and border edging • Watering • Irrigation installation and repair • Planting of annuals and bulbs • Assist in the control of pest and disease • Support the Lead Horticulturalist to ensure that your gardens reach full potential • Ensure all tools, materials and plants are taken to site when required. • Support in the daily completion of job sheets highlighting future requirements. • Flag any issues onsite to the office to mitigate client complaints. • Assist in day-to-day maintenance of yard. • Ensure that the van is kept clean and tidy with a full set of tools. Reporting any problems immediately. • Be punctual and look tidy and presentable. • Cover other maintenance runs when required. • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed. • Attend staff meetings.
