A 46-bedroom, family-run hotel set within 10 acres of stunning Berkshire countryside, conveniently located between Royal Windsor and Ascot. Our restaurant is known for its warm service and consistent delivery of high-quality food, from breakfast and lunch through to weddings, functions, and seasonal events.

The Role:
We’re seeking a passionate Chef de Partie or experienced Junior Sous Chef ready to step up into a supportive leadership role within our kitchen team. You’ll play a vital part in day-to-day service, helping maintain consistency, standards, and a calm, collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes across all sections.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
* Support the Sous and Head Chef with daily prep, service, and menu development.
* Take ownership of your section, ensuring mise en place and smooth service.
* Support with mentoring junior members of the team and deputising when needed.
* Contribute creative ideas for specials, functions, and seasonal menus.
* Help manage stock rotation and assist with orders and deliveries.
* Uphold all food safety, health, and hygiene standards (including COSHH).

Shifts:
Rotas are based on a 40-hour working week and include:
* Early: 6:45am – 3:00pm
* Split/Day: 12:00pm – 9:00pm (extended hours for functions possible)
* Late: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Flexibility is expected during busy periods and special events.

What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous in a quality kitchen.
* Ability to manage a section confidently and consistently under pressure.
* Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for cooking.
* A team player who enjoys contributing to a positive kitchen culture.
* Good understanding of food safety and kitchen best practices.
* Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
