Duties of the Vehicle Technician
* Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies
* Accurately identify vehicle faults, reporting findings to the Service Manager
* Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations
* Adhere to manufacturer procedures and dealership quality assurance protocols
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and diagnostics as a Vehicle Technician
* Support team members and contribute to a collaborative workshop environment
* Where active, undertake MOT testing duties (training provided if not already qualified)
Requirements
* Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
* Proven experience working within a busy dealership environmentStrong diagnostic skills and technical competence
* Driven, reliable, and committed to delivering high‑quality workmanship
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Highly motivated to meet team targets and dealership standards
* An active MOT licence is highly advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
