Shift Pattern: Varies from day to day but are planned in advance

You will be responsible for

Becoming a manager in a Tesco store involves guiding a management team and delivering the best possible service for colleagues and customers. You will be a lead manager, often the most senior colleague in the store, focused on ensuring quality service and operational effectiveness.

It is a chance to apply management skills, experience and instincts to improve ways of working and achieve excellent outcomes for customers.

You will be a role model, helping colleagues know and love our products and services, involving everyone in community projects, and growing your team by spotting talent and providing feedback and support.

We expect you to maximise sales, impact and presentation for your department while keeping everything safe, compliant and properly staffed.

This role is about leading from the front on the store floor with your colleagues and customers.


You will need

Do you have the attitude, aptitude and aspiration to be a great retail manager? This is a role for those who love retail, and most importantly, who put people at the heart of everything you do. You will be:
