Job Description:
We're exclusively recruiting for a Payroll Supervisor to join a fast-growing firm of chartered accountants in Kent. This is a hybrid position where you can work from home up to 3 days a week and in their Rochester office 2 days a week.
Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious, multi-sited practice with a modern approach to accounting. This role is suited for an experienced and technically competent Payroll Administrator. The successful candidate will oversee the payroll for a diverse portfolio of clients and support the wider team and Partners. They use BrightPay software and are open to candidates working on a hybrid or remote basis.
* Manage multiple payrolls for a diverse client portfolio.
* Support the team with payroll and benefits processes.
* Handle queries related to tax, benefits, salary, and allowances.
* Manage P11D’s and Annual Returns.
* Handle CIS Returns.
* Process P60s, P45s, start letters, and induction documentation.
* Mentor and lead junior team members.
* Knowledge of statutory pay claims and processes.
* Contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s payroll services.
Requirements
* Demonstrable experience leading payroll for a varied client portfolio (150-200 clients).
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proactive problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with good workload management.
* Team player with mentoring abilities.
* High standards and motivation.
* This is a hybrid role, working up to 3-4 days a week.
