Senior Business Development Director — Global Tech Consultancy — £150k Base + Bonus — London (Hybrid)

We’re partnered with a global IT services and digital transformation consultancy that delivers innovative technology solutions to enterprise clients across multiple sectors. With strong international reach, they provide a full suite of services spanning cloud, infrastructure, managed services, security, and digital transformation.
The Opportunity
This is a pure new business role for an experienced enterprise sales hunter. You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing high-value, complex deals with new clients across the IT services and consulting space.
You’ll focus on building new relationships at C-level, targeting enterprise organisations that can benefit from a broad portfolio of technology services. This role is about creating opportunities, driving large-scale sales cycles, and consistently winning new logos.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and lead generation through to deal close.
* Identify and target enterprise organisations with complex IT needs across cloud, digital transformation, security, and managed services.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives, understanding their business challenges and positioning tailored solutions.
* Develop and execute a clear business development strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
* Engage cross-functional teams internally (delivery, pre-sales, marketing) to shape proposals and deliver winning solutions.
* Track and report pipeline activity, forecasts, and deal progression to leadership.
Ideal Background:
* Proven track record of consistently winning new business at enterprise level within IT services, technology consulting, or digital transformation.
* Experience selling complex services solutions across cloud, managed services, infrastructure, security, or IT consulting.
* Sector experience across Financial Services, Insurance, or Manufacturing is advantageous.
* Strong network of C-level contacts and decision makers.
* Comfortable running long, complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
* Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute.
* Deep understanding of the IT services landscape and how to position large-scale solutions.
* Willingness to travel as required.
Package:
* Basic Salary: Up to £150,000
* Competitive bonus structure
* Must be London based or able to get into London 3 days per week
