Conveyancing Executive

Reports to: Partner / Senior Fee Earner
Job Purpose:
To provide high-quality legal and administrative support within a busy Conveyancing department, working closely with a team of fee earners, partners, and support staff. The role involves managing files from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring excellent client service throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Communication:
* Confidently handle telephone calls and take accurate messages.
* Make outgoing calls as needed.
* Proactively update clients, estate agents, and developers on case progress.
* Attend client and developer meetings as required.
* Deal with clients and third parties in person, by phone, and in writing.
2. Document Preparation & Management:
* Draft and prepare legal documents and correspondence using Microsoft Word and the firms case management system.
* Ensure accuracy and a high standard of presentation in all documents.
* File opening, closing, and general file management using the case management system.
* Order searches and prepare reports to lenders.
* Prepare files for exchange and completion.
