Overview
We are seeking a School Business Manager who will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the Trust’s business operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants real influence. As the School Business Manager of a standalone trust, you’ll have the freedom to shape our business operations and play a key role in guiding the school’s next phase of development.
Role Details
Term time only (37 hours per week) + 2 weeks, part‑time or flexible arrangements considered.
Permanent contract.
Local Government Pension Scheme benefits.
Salary: Grade G, SCP 32‑37, £42,839‑£48,226 – Actual Salary (£39,544‑£45,444 p.a.).
Location: Silvertrees Academy, Silvertrees Road, Tipton, West Midlands, DY4 8NH.
Required from 1st September 2026 or earlier if available.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership across finance, operations, HR, health and safety, estates, and wider business services.
Work with professional external partners who support strategic accountancy, HR, GDPR and Health & Safety functions.
