We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Mathematics to lead our Maths Department across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will provide strategic direction, inspire colleagues and students, and champion creative, applied, and industry-relevant mathematics education aligned with our ethos: “A Curriculum That Gets You Hired.” Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Maths Department, setting clear expectations and strategic direction. Deliver outstanding Maths lessons that promote engagement, challenge, and achievement. Design and implement an ambitious curriculum, integrating real-world and cross-curricular opportunities. Monitor and evaluate teaching, learning, and assessment, using data to drive improvement. Foster an inclusive classroom environment and support the diverse needs of learners. Lead enrichment activities, employer partnerships, and digital innovation within Maths. Celebrate student achievements and drive excellent outcomes for all. Person Specification Qualified Teacher Status and a degree relevant to Mathematics. Successful teaching experience across Key Stages 4 and/or 5. Proven track record of excellent student outcomes in Mathematics. Experience of leading a subject or curriculum area and supporting colleagues. Strong knowledge of curriculum design, assessment, and national developments in Maths education. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
