Job Description:
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Tax Compliance Team in Newcastle, responsible for providing tax compliance services for a wide range of business clients.
Do you want to join a supportive, forward-thinking, close-knit team with a compliance focus? This role can be based out of either our Newcastle or Manchester offices, both city centre based. This growing and developing team offers plenty of progression opportunities and flexibility for part-time work if required.
As Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring compliance with procedures and processes, following institute and HMRC guidance.
* Meeting department billing and recovery targets.
* Staff management and development, including appraisals and performance monitoring.
* Training and mentoring junior staff.
* Providing exceptional client service and maintaining regular contact with client teams.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or have an international equivalent, with significant corporate tax experience within professional services.
* Have demonstrable technical compliance skills.
* Have experience managing people.
* Possess strong IT skills.
