Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance & Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in office financial processes, inter-company movement, sub contractors and CIS deductions, VAT especially the reverse charge scheme, payroll and be knowledgeable with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Duties
1. Oversee the department. including purchase and sales ledger controls, debt management and control
2. Weekly and monthly payroll
3. Weekly subcontractor invoices and CIS deductions
4. Monthly PAYE statutory obligations
5. Monthly and Quarterly VAT returns for 4 companies
6. Confident to deal with HMRC for any VAT inspections/queries
7. Pension enrollment, processing of and reconciliation
8. Monthly ONS reporting being a legal requirement
9. Training organisation for other members of staff
10. Raising of sales invoices - a strong VAT knowledge is required
11. Fuel cards reconciliations
12. Expenses
13. Staff Holidays
14. CITB levy and applications
15. All bank/card payment reconciliations
16. Intercompany movement, invoicing and reconciliations
17. Dealing with external accountants and posting of year end journals
18. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
19. Reconciliation of project costings
20. Office stationery ordering
