As part of this role, you'll be responsible for driving learning excellence across our North and Central regions, coaching and developing our partners to grow their own careers, as well as the careers of the partners they lead. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with the regional operations manager, district managers and HRBP to deliver learning excellence in all of our stores. Through coaching, guiding and advising you'll create a culture of self-sustaining learning whilst you lead and mentor our manager development coaches (MDCs) across the regions you're supporting driving the learning KPIs. We'll look to you to bring your previous experience of designing and implementing learning programmes in a matrixed, multi-site retail or hospitality business. You'll be used to working collaboratively across HR and operations with proven experience of coaching at store manager and district manager level. You'll be experienced in facilitation, presenting and conducting training needs analysis, as well as tracking and measuring learning KPIs. It would be great if you're an Insights practitioner, but this isn't essential. The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as our regional learning coach, you'll get involved in: Observing, coaching, and providing feedback to the teams across your regions on learning excellence, driving the correct learning infrastructure and building store manager capabilities Embedding a strong understanding of all retail pathways including our Apprenticeship offerings Working with our external Apprenticeship Providers to identify opportunities and support learner progress Managing the delivery of training programmes, owning the relationship with external vendors, ensuring that all spend is efficient and within budget Leading strategic learning projects, creating UK specific content where needed and working collaboratively with our wider HR and operational teams in the UK and EMEA Conducting training needs analysis within your regions, and providing feedback to the UK and EMEA learning teams to drive continuous improvement Leading cultural, change management and engagement programmes that reinforce our mission, values and guiding principles Using KPI data to identify trends and generate insights, acting as a business partner to your regional teams Collaborating with the MDCs to ensure that all training programmes are in place and being delivered with excellence In return, we'll offer you a competitive salary and benefits that include: 25 days holiday a year (plus Bank Holidays) Flexible benefits - in addition to the benefits listed here we'll also provide you with an additional 4% to allow you to select the benefits that suit you Life assurance and private medical insurance for yourself Comprehensive training (including coffee knowledge!) and access to Starbucks Global Academy (our online learning platform to help continuously develop yourself) Free bag of coffee each week and a 30% partner discounts on food, beverages, and merchandise Discounts with local and national retailers (cell phones, gym memberships, entertainment tickets, hotels, etc.) through Perks at Work platform Subscription to Headspace Home Sweet Loan (Interest-free loans that can be paid back over 12 months to help pay your rental deposit) Bean stock options for all partners (own part of Starbucks!)
