Are you looking for an entry level road into finance to start your Accounting career ? My client is a growing Accountancy Practice and are keen to grow their team with the addition of a Junior Accounts Assistant.
As Junior Accounts Assistant your duties will include :
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Input financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Update and maintain accounting records and files.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial reports as needed.
To be considered for this position the successful candidate will have :
* Relevant Degree (Maths, Economics, Business Studies) /A-Level or equivalent qualifications including GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or with some equivalent accountancy qualification or experience
* IT proficient with MS Excel skills.
* A credible individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated and able to show initiative.

* Ability to work with others to produce actions to solve problems.
* Ability to work under pressure and cope with high and varied workloads.
* Accurate, strong attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
