Job Opportunity: Shop Manager (Full-Time) Big C, a regional cancer charity supporting local people, is hiring a Shop Manager for its soon to be opened King's Lynn Shop. As Shop Manager you will run Big C's newest charity shop, which will stock a wide range of products, including clothing, bric-a-brac, furniture and bridal, maximising retail sales and profit while delivering a high quality of customer service through effective leadership of staff and volunteers and management of resources and budgets. Role Responsibilities include: Day to day management and ongoing development of the shop. Supervising a small team of staff including part-time assistant shop managers and volunteers. Maximising the value of donated items, through sorting, display and rotation. Achievement of income targets and, driving high standards through the effective leadership and motivation of the team. Driving recruitment and development of volunteers. Encouraging local stock donations. Management of furniture collections and deliveries.
