Electrician
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £19–£24 per hour
We’re looking for experienced Electricians to join a busy industrial site in Plymouth, carrying out maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and installations on a range of plant equipment and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
2. Fault finding on motors, drives, pumps, conveyors, and control panels.
3. Installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
4. Electrical inspections and testing.
5. Supporting plant upgrades and improvement projects.
6. Working safely and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Requirements
7. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance (or equivalent).
8. 18th Edition qualification.
9. Experience within industrial, manufacturing, heavy plant, quarrying, or mining environments.
10. Strong fault-finding skills on three-phase systems and industrial equipment.
11. Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
12. Inspection & Testing (2391) qualification desirable.
Additional Information
13. All employees are required to undergo drug and alcohol screening.
14. This position operates on a shift pattern: 5 days on, 5 days off, 12-hour shifts.
15. Pay rate is dependent on experience.
16. Due to the site location, candidates must have their own reliable transport.
