Salary: £110 – £130 per day
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to support students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) in a specialist school setting in Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of supporting students with ASC, excellent knowledge of evidence-based interventions, and the ability to create a nurturing and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support planning and delivery of differentiated learning tailored to students with ASC.
*
Lead small group or 1:1 sessions under the direction of the class teacher.
*
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment promoting social, emotional, and academic development.
*
Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet individual student needs.
*
Assist in monitoring, assessing, and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCo.
*
Support implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
*
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and carers to enhance engagement and outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:

Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Conditions in a school or specialist setting.
*
Knowledge of evidence-based strategies and interventions for ASC.
*
Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
*
Relevant SEND TA qualifications or equivalent experience preferred.
