Want to help redesign how publicly funded transport works across health, education, and local government – and make it simpler and more joined‑up for passengers?
We’re looking for a Public Transport Planner (Integrated Public Transport) to lead the development and embedding of a joined‑up transport approach across the region. This role is all about integration: connecting services that are often planned separately, reducing duplication, and improving outcomes for the people who rely on them most.
In This Role, You’ll
* Lead programmes to design, test and embed integrated transport models across the region
* Map and analyse commissioned transport services (including health, social care, and education) to identify opportunities for alignment and optimisation
* Work closely with local authorities, NHS partners, operators and service providers to build consensus and deliver change
* Manage budgets and funding pots, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, to quality and within agreed constraints
You’ll bring experience of improving customer outcomes in a public transport or regulated environment, with strong analytical skills and confidence working across complex stakeholder landscapes. You’ll be comfortable navigating political, contractual and partnership settings, and motivated by making systems work better for passengers.
