About the Role
As a key member of our newly created Centre of Excellence, you'll be responsible for third party oversight. The Centre of Excellence will serve as the engine room for Group Property and Procurement transformation.
As our Third Party Oversight Manager, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing the third-party oversight and supplier relationship management frameworks. You'll play an instrumental role in ensuring the frameworks are adopted by the Society, operating across multiple departments and disciplines, acting as a trusted business partner and adviser.
You'll ensure that third-party risks are identified, documented and reported in line with policy, supporting detailed data analysis including trending, problem identification and development of remediation plans.
Assisting the business with the attestation process, you'll verify compliance with third party risk management framework, policies and controls.
A key part of your role will be keeping up to data with the changing regulatory environment, market conditions, trends and insights with regards to third-party risk management and changes to the environment that may impact the Society and how we work with third parties.
Working alongside the Group Property & Procurement Operations Manager, you'll develop a suite of reports for third-party risk management to demonstrate the effectiveness of the frameworks.
About You
You'll have demonstratable experience in a third-party risk management role and an in-depth understanding of third-party risk management best practices and trends.
With a track record of implementing risk management and supplier relationship management frameworks, you'll ideally have an understanding of financial services regulations and requirements or have worked in a regulated environment, as well as experience of working with risk management systems. A strong understanding of strategic procurement and supplier management is essential.
You'll have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally - establishing strong links with key business areas and developing relationships with new and existing partners.
Experience in interpreting and presenting third-party risk data and MI is required, as is in-depth reporting and analytical skills, with experience of producing reporting to regulator, risk and c-suite levels.
